This is a large sidebite fin – similar in size to a large thruster side fin. Edouard uses this together with his 7.5-inch ED Pro center fin in his high-performance surfboard model Minvielle x Torq.
The combination of larger side fins and a smaller center fin makes for a very dynamic ride that is more like a thruster. On performance longboards or mid-lengths, this makes for a powerful ride with plenty of projection off the bottom and a committed feel in the turns.
Ideal board: Edouard Delpero Pro Minvielle x Torq or any performance 2+1 longboard.
Ideal conditions: From knee-high waves to overhead barrels.
